NOTE: Most of the activities in the area take place in iSimangaliso Wetland Park – South Africa’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site. Permits are required to access the park. These permits may be obtained from a number of Ezemvelo KZN permit offices in the area and the nearest permit office is just two kilometres away from us. Please talk to us about arranging your activities in advance in order to ensure that you get the most out of your stay in Kosi Bay. Permits cost R 40 per vehicle and R 40 per person so we encourage you to obtain a KZN Wildlife Rhino Card as entry to the Park is then free. Contact the Rhino Club on (033) 845 1008 to obtain a Rhino Card. The number of permits to beaches is limited to a number of vehicles per day and they are issued on a first come first serve basis.
