Directions
From the South:
- Take the N2 to Hluhluwe
- From Hluhluwe, take the R22 towards Sodwana Bay
- Pass by Ismangaliso Wetlands and Mbazwana over the circles and bumps and continue on to kwaNgwanase. Watch out for stray cattle and goats.
- At the Big Circle, turn RIGHT toward KwaNgwanase/ Farazela Boarder post and drive 22km to KwaNgwanase.
- Drive straight through kwaNgwanase, also known as Manguzi or Kosi Bay (this is your last point to stock up on supplies at SPAR, Tops, or Boxer)
- From the Total garage in town, drive 5,4 km out of town, look for the signboard for Kosi Bay Camp and Kosi Bay Valley Lodge and take the gravel road (D1846) to the RIGHT.
- At 700m, the road splits – keep LEFT toward Kosi Valley Lodge.
- At the next junction (about 3,2 km on the gravel road, keep right (follow sign).
- Look out for our board and entrance on the right.
From the North:
- Take the N2 towards Jozini, and Turn Left toward Jozini, up the Mountain pass where you’ll see the Pongola Port Dam in the valley below to your left, home of the Tiger Fish!
- Pass through Jozini and keep left at the junction (do not follow the sign to Mbazwana/Sodwana)
- This will take you over the Jozini Dam wall. Continue on, following the signs to kwaNgwanase and Farazela Border Post. Watch for stray cattle and goats.
- Drive straight through kwaNgwanase, also known as Manguzi or Kosi Bay (this is your last point to stock up on supplies at SPAR or Boxer)
